Example : You want to find all the experiments whose type is "test"and have been realized on the beamline "DIFFABS" after 29 January 2008.

 

1.Analyze the conditions of your research


The conditions that you need to specify are:


Beamline name = DIFFABS
Experiment type = test

Date of the experiment >= 29/01/2008

A summary of the filter can be:

Beamline name = DIFFABS AND Experiment type = test AND Experiment date >29/01/2008
 

2.Create a filter

To open the wizard, you can:

- click on button in the toolbar.

- use the keyboard shortcut « CTRL » + « N ».

- click on menu "Filter", then click on submenu "New filter".

         

You must select the filter's model.

All the conditions must be linked with "AND" operator, so you can choose: Simple filter: the filter must respect all the conditions.

 

 

Click on button to build your fuilter.
 
Select the conditions like in the image below.
 
 

Then, click on button

 
The next dialog shows the filter built.
 

You can modify it by clicking on button .

 
If you click on button "OK", the filter will be executed.

 

The experimental contexts which satisfy these conditions will be displayed.
